Thread Kits Company offers installation tools for high volume or production runs. These tools, made from hardened metal, have their own handle, depth stop collar and prewinder, which compresses the insert prior to installation. Generally, fine pitch inserts are larger in diameter than coarse pitch inserts and have to be “pre-wound” to a smaller diameter for easy installation.
