When it becomes necessary to remove a Perma-Coil insert, this can be done manually by inserting the Perma-Coil extracting tools “V” shaped steel blade into the top end of the insert and turning counter-clockwise for smooth removal. Removal of inserts from soft parent material without extracting tools may cause thread damage in the parent material.
